Unit Title: Characteristics of Electricity
Throughout this unit you will be able to apply your learning to your everyday lives as electricity is all around us and has heavily impacted our current society. As the current future of our society you will be given the opportunity to investigate the use of technologies that permit the use of electrical energy and evaluate both the technologies and their direct and/or indirect impacts on the environment and society in general.
During this unit we will discuss the laws of electrostatics and develop an understanding of what a series and parallel circuit are. Through investigations you will begin to better understand the relationships between voltage, resistance and current within electric circuits. |
